During the 45th COVID-19 public briefing on 14 July 2022, His Excellency the President of the Republic of Namibia , Dr. Hage Geingob, announced that, given the current epidemiological situation, it was decided to remove the COVID-19 restrictions gazetted under the Public and Environmental Health Act, 2015 (Act No.1 of 2015).
The current epidemiological situation as of today no longer supports the retention of entry requirements into Namibia of a vaccination certificate and a negative PCR test result.
Consequently, the entry requirements into Namibia by foreign travelers of vaccination certificate and a negative PCR test result have been scrapped.
Please do not hesitate to call the COVID-19 hotline (0800 100 100) for more information about the COVID-19 entry requirements into Namibia.
