The Keetmanshoop Airport is the biggest airport in the Karas region in southern Namibia and provides reliable road connections to the ‘have-to-see’ Namib Desert. Situated five (5) kms outside the town of Keetmanshoop, the Airport has a penchant for charter flights carrying mostly hunters and other leisure travelers and is also has the capacity to cater for wide-bodied aircrafts, subject to prior approval by the Namibia Airports Company.
The Hot Water Springs at Ai-Ais, the Kokerboom forest near Keetmanshoop, the Fish River Canyon which is the second largest in the world, the Brukaros Mountain (a former volcano) near Berseba, are in the close vicinity of the Keetmanshoop Airport, saving you drive-time.
